Red light get across the stage and the music of Rachel’s to make the wait right and proper for the guest of the evening, Shannon Wright at the Teatro Studio of Scandicci.

Yesterday the dark septic setting seemed having all the right things to make the concert unforgetable, and Shannon understood that from her first song, a solo piano kind ballade pull out from her last album, “Let in the light”. From the very first songs, she displayed skill and her outstanding voice. After that the rest of the band got on the stage and from that point on, the raw rock of  one of the Touch and Go’s best artist came out.

Accompanied by a rhythimic session among the strongest from the USA indie-rock scene, such as of the Shipping News, the songwriter succeeds to keep the show alive proposing the perfect outline (that of the “Over the sun” and “Died in the wool”) for an always florentine young audience, but not in the age. An intense performance, that of the indie-rocker, which will be difficult to forget also for Piero Pelù.... I always asked myself what he can think watching these kind of concerts where the musicians make real music.

We have (surprisingly enough) gotten an interview with the two founders of February Clothing. Yes, we actually asked the questions. Cool? Totally.
This is probably the one italian brand that can compete with the international alternative scene.
Their style is minimal, original, sometimes just fucking nerdy!

When and how did the project for February start?
In 2003, for the interest of japanese buyers.

We were class mates at the Marangioni institute

Everything...except marketing...and we obviously don't sew the clothes ourselves
